# ‼️ HELP ‼️ - my Alocasia African mask \& Silver Dragon aren’t doing so…

_Lagt ut av Victoria’s Plants den 2024-03-06_

‼️ HELP ‼️ - my Alocasia African mask \& Silver Dragon aren’t doing so well .. I had posted my mother plant Alocasia African Mask not too long ago struggling and needing some help (which y’all were super helpful) and realized it needed to be repotted. I did that but then decided to transfer my Alocasias into Leca soil. It seems like the roots are good, but my leaves on my African mask are all dropping and yellowing. My silver dragon is still trying to hang on but the ends of the leaves are brown and crispy. Can anyone give me some pointers on these?

Transplant shock could be what caused this, you also moved into into water so it’s going to take a while to accumulate to the new conditions, alocasia in general are super fussy, but in time it should pop back up, you can also help it by putting it in a plastic bag to increase humidity, just open it every so often so it has fresh oxygen :)

I have about a dozen alocasia in leca❤️ majority of them lost their leaves after transferring them from soil to leca, but they have all bounced back and look wonderful! Don’t give up on them!
