Pothos are great for beginners. Overwatering is the only way to unalive them and even then they still might live lol

Philodendrons are a great choice too! They are easy to care for and come in lots of varieties

A ZZ , snake plants, ponytail palms, Sago Palms, Jade succulent, Orge ear succulent , dracaenas, the list goes on with easy to grow plants.
