# Hello! I just wanted to show off my monstera, this has been a dream…

Hello! I just wanted to show off my monstera, this has been a dream plant for me for a long time but I didn't feel like I had the knowledge or skill to care for one until recently. I'm still scared to kill her but she has 3 new leafs coming out and I'm so happy! Any advice is welcome! I do have her in a mix of all purpose potting soil and an airy mix with lecha balls she gets morning sun directly and indirect/ shady light the rest of the day. I don't like the moss pole I put in there(I read they needed one for support but I don't think she requires one at this time but I put it in just in case) but she rooted to it at the bottom 🥲 when I got her she had one fenestration leaf.

Sounds like you’re doing everything right. At least from what I know about them. I currently have two.
