My monstera is growing nicely, despite the fact that he had some brown spots when I purchased him from the orange aprons.

It is a monstera Peru , just not the monstera deliciosa you’re probably familiar with sleepless spider

Yes, it is a monstera. It's a Monstera Peru. And even if it was not, there is no need for snark.

I apologize for misunderstanding tone. And yes, it definitely looks like a pothos, but its leaves are bigger and the leaves have interesting ridges. I never heard of the monstera Peru until my sister sent me a picture of hers. I wasn't even in the store to buy one that day. I was looking for a golden pothos to fill out the one I already owned and was looking at the clearance plants. But the Peru jumped into my shopping cart. 🤷🏽‍♀️😆
