# Leaving for 8 days and have over 70 plants with 40 of them needing…

Leaving for 8 days and have over 70 plants with 40 of them needing between daily to every 3 day watering. Questions for you all - 1. If I cover the green house with a shade cloth will this help maintain moisture longer (PS I have 580 watts pro led supplimental light, Greenhouse already only get 4 hours partial sun a day in the woods) - 2. For the plants that need daily watering, would whik system work best? - 3. What about the old whole in a water bottle? Any tips our tricks would be fantastic!

That’s gorgeous! Get a sitter! I hate to be a doom sayer but, I know it seems like San Diego here for the last few months, remember ‘heat domes’ and ‘smoke events’?

I would use wicking. When I left for 5 days. I put any "water ho's" in self watering pots. Ran the humidifiers on full blast the night before. Watered everything deeply the morning I was leaving, and misted everything well. I luckily had no issues coming back.
