My mom repotted her peace lily and it’s looking a little sad. Anyone know what’s wrong or any suggestions for how to fix it?

The pot looks a bit big for the plant. How big is the root ball compared to the pot?

The pot is too big. The pot should be slightly bigger than the root ball. It allows the plant to dry out the soil by using up all the water. Excess soil holds excess water that soaks the roots causing root rot and creates a breeding ground for fungus, fungus gnats, mealybugs and other pests that need continuously wet soil to live.

It’s looking a bit dry but I’m no expert. Maybe the soil? It looks like it might need some support
