# So I picked up this Christmas cactus from Walmart last Saturday all…

So I picked up this Christmas cactus from Walmart last Saturday all the way in the back of the store with some other forgotten plants. It may have had a rough weekend and 2 hour car ride home in the back with the dog🤦🏼‍♀️. It’s not looking to good… is it just stressed from all the moving and changes? What should I do to help it? Its soil isn’t dry but not drenched either, and it’s not root bound.

Hm Mabey you are under watering it,might be if it is shrivelled or limp it needs water.But most Christmas cactus likes to stay soggy

It's just stressed. They don't like being moved and will drop their flower buds. It'll recoup. Just water it and leave it be for about a week then you'll get more of an idea if something more is going on. If it doesn't seem to bounce back, I suggest repotting it. I use Epiphytic Soil (better gro bromilaid blend) and mine seems to really like it and is giving me blooms currently
