# figured I’d show my reality of plant mom-ing! my begonia is doing…

figured I’d show my reality of plant mom-ing! my begonia is doing great, rubber tree is doing great, and my njoy is happy. meanwhile, my dieffenbachia (upper left on the shelf) is losing 1/2 of it’s leaves and my monstera is really stretchy 😅😂 i even use grow lights for the monstera to counteract all the winter/cloudy lighting we have here in the southern PNW.

i hope this normalizes imperfect houseplants for other people!

I would get a better grow light… sometimes you need a better one… I just had to upgrade mine and now my plants look amazing
