What is corm?

#### Dana G antwortete am 2025-05-27

A corm is a swollen, fleshy underground stem that stores nutrients for a plant, serving as a survival and reproductive organ. It's similar to a bulb but has a solid center made of stem tissue rather than modified leaves. Corms are typically covered by a papery tunic for protection.
