# Just bought a discounted Ficus Benji. Been wanting one for awhile. I…

Just bought a discounted Ficus Benji. Been wanting one for awhile. I told myself I wouldn’t buy anything discounted in order to try and save a plant but here I am. Hopefully this guy just needed a bunch of water, which is what I’m giving him. I checked the roots and they looked fine. What do you guys think?

If there’s still green it’s alive and can be saved! Give him a nice bottom watering and I bet he perks right up. I just got one of these too, they’re so pretty

GORGEOUS!! I had the same thought. If there’s a few leaves I’m sure they’ll grow back. I hear they have similar care to the fiddle leaf but might be a bit easier? I’m curious to see how long it might take for some new leaves to come back

Give him water and avoid extreme temperatures and he'll be fine. These are nearly unkillable. Be careful about how often you water him; with no/few leaves, he won't use water in the soil as fast
