Every time I buy a new plant (I have 12 in my bedroom bc I live with my parents) I think to myself “is this becoming an unhealthy obsession?” But then I see you beautiful people on this app and I remember that some of you have like 300 plants in one room.

Haha. I would if my hubby wouldn’t go crazy. He just doesn’t want the. To physically touch him. I have about 200

We support one another here and judge no one…(but gees 12! you need to up your game!😉🤣😂 …I will not buy another plant until 2 die or are stolen in the night ) 🙄

I’m actively decreasing my number. It was about 150 last year. I’m closer to 120 today. I’m trying to get to 100 by winter. Two grow lights died and winter is coming!🤣

Oof good luck! 😂 I’m at 26 if you include all my props and my garden, but if you DON’T include them, it’s 20 👀. My mom already thinks it’s too many, but I live near two really nice nurseries so it’s very difficult to NOT get a new peperomia every time I go there 😂 kinda feel like I’ve gotta collect them all. I’ve promised them I’d call it quits for the winter since I’m from PA, tho 😅 (but when spring comes, I AM gonna get a bear paw cactus! 😈) My dad on the other hand is perfectly fine with me getting more plants. If he sees empty window space he’s like “…it’s not right yet”. He spotted a ficus elastica Tineke and nearly waltzed out of a nursery without even letting me check it for pests or problems cause “he liked the leaves and all my other plants are all green. I need more color in the house” 😂 was just gonna buy it without even telling me. At least I’ve got someone on my side 😅

I understand. It’s so fun to buy plants. I too think it’s an obsession. Fall is a good barometer, because I have to bring them inside and see how much space they use

I have about 30 and they are spilling out of my room and out into the house :) my mom has a grow tent and when I tell you I’m taking advantage of it I mean it
