# Hey everyone! I just wanted to showcase my African Violet’s progress…

Hey everyone! I just wanted to showcase my African Violet’s progress throughout my time of caring for her.

I received Delilah as a gift in October of last year, and she was doing amazing (Photo 1)! However, I went on a weeklong vacation and came back to her wilting and almost gone (Photo 2).

Thankfully, I brought her back to life, and she started flowering again (Photo 3)! I even successfully propagated a leaf, which is doing great right now. Fast-forward to now, I just took another weeklong vacation, and I came back to incredible leaf growth!

African Violets are amazing 🥰

What did you do to make it happy? Mine just lost all its blooms in like a week so I’m getting a little worried

Hello! Mine is also losing all of its blooms, which I think is to save energy for leaf growth. I would say as long as you’re not losing leaves, you’re doing great!

To help mine, I put her under a grow light for 12 hours a day and a strict watering and fertilizing schedule. She was mainly wilting from a lack of light, so I would adjust that first and give yours some time to bounce back!

Nice! Mine's a similar flower color when he decides to bloom. It's always wonderful when you finally figure out what they need to thrive

I’ve been dying to get some different varieties but I can’t seem to find new ones anywhere! You’re so right—it’s so satisfying when everything works out.
