Are you sure that she's an obliqua? It looks more like adansonii to me but sometimes I struggle to tell then apart, tbh.

Honestly, I'm not sure. I looked it up to see the differences and I honestly.....couldn't tell. I went by what the app and the store said it was. It could very well be the adansonii.

I know that going by the stores label isn't always correct but I only took it into account because the app also said it was the obliqua.

Like I just looked again at a side by side on Google and I couldn't tell the difference between the two in the picture 😂

I actually think you're right for mine just solely on the leaves. Google says adansonii has a more....thick, leathery leaf compared to the thinner, paper-like leaf of the obliqua and these leaves are most definitely not thin. Thanks for pointing that out!

I really can't tell the difference either and I just watched a 26 minute explainer video on YouTube. 😂😂😂

It is, but the vent is on the other side of it and it's pointed away from it so it doesn't get a draft from it
