# HELP: This is my silly Golden heart Dracaena with leaves all curling…

_Geplaatst door Mansi op 2024-01-18_

HELP: This is my silly Golden heart Dracaena with leaves all curling and crisping up. I corrected the watering mistake replacing with the distilled one yet no signs of improvement
Had to remove some of the leaves too

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Have you checked the roots for rot? Does the pot have drainage holes! What kind of soil do you have it in? They like a lot of light so I’m thinking a watering issue. Not absorbing the water because of root rot. Which could happen because it is sitting in wet soil too long. Make sure the pot and soil are well draining. I have this plant. It’s in a well draining mix in a south facing window and loving its life. When watering make sure you water until you see the water draining out from the bottom of the pot. I also use tap water and it’s just fine with it but I understand that everyone’s tap water is different. Good luck.

If you’re using the correct water now, I’d just cut off the brown tips.

How long have you been going between watering? If leaves are curling it may be a sign that it’s trying to conserve moisture in the leaves because the plant is too dry.
