HELP! What is the name of this plant? I've been taking care of it for an elderly friend while she moved to a different care facility. But this new memory care facility does not allow plants that are toxic. I can't look up if it's toxic if I don't know what it is.

That's what everyone on facebook said too, and it doesn't look like it to me. It looks like it's coming from a bulb.

It’s a spider plant. They have thick finger like white fleshy roots. You can pull out the plant to verify. They are nontoxic to both humans and animals.
