What kind of plant?

It’s a tillandsia, or air plant, not sure the variety, thinking maybe ionantha!

I’m also curious which plant is that? Airplant? I’m straggling with mine…

I will say this, I take no merit since a lot of neglect is involved; only really soak it 20 minutes ever week in the summer, two weeks in the winter, and let it try upside down over night! It’s in a bright and warm room year round, with other air plants that are all very happy!

Do you think I have the same plant?… it always looks thirsty… I soak it overnight, otherwise it doesn’t straighten its leaves… but I can’t understand how often I should do it. Recently I followed planta advice. But it looks so thirsty 🙃

I have this plant from 2016 but it never got pups or blooms 🤗

Looks great to me, maybe a different variety. I find planta overzealous with their water recommendations for airplants. Give it a good soak every two weeks, leave it in a bright room and I’m sure it’ll be happy!

Thank you 😊🙏 I’ll try that!

WHOA!!! that is so cool. How did you get it so big and full?

#### Pierre replied on 2024-01-06

It’s a bunch of tiny ones that weren’t divided and sold individually. As you may know, as it matures, blooms and dies, new pups grow around and take over. I just leave it all together and don’t care too much about the dead leaves you can see in between maturing pups!
