# Croton arrangement I made in PON. PON is not a recommended soil type…

Croton arrangement I made in PON.

PON is not a recommended soil type for crotons but I decided to do some experimenting. What I found is that living in PON doesn’t seem to be the issue but transitioning or washing the roots clean that causes problems.  
They also need a ton of light so the grow light is what keeps these guys going.

I potted these all individually to see what I could keep alive. Sadly I did lose one (RIP croton mammi) but this arrangement turned out gorgeous!
