😂 There are worse things to do than buy plants. At least, that’s what I keep telling myself.

Oh boy, crotons are SO FINICKY! They don’t like to be moved AT ALL. And they’re prone to spider mites so keep an eye out. They also really need a lot of humidity.

I would quarantine new plants a few weeks and spray weekly with neem oil or insecticidal soap. I got both mealy bugs and spider mites from plants off the discount rack. Took several weeks to eradicate. Better safe…

Ugh I don’t want that! I repotted outside and discarded the dirt they came in…. Rinsed and thoroughly inspected everything really good so hopefully it’s ok…. Maybe I’ll move them to the garage JIC or would it be too late now?
