Moved into a new apartment last month and finally got my first plant! I’m super new to plant care and all that but I’m so in love with her and I’m super excited to learn more about them!

Window is east-northeast facing so we get the sunrise shining through. Not quite sure if it’ll be too much sunlight though

Pothos can do well in bright and low light. They are sensitive to direct sunlight and can get leaf burn. They should be ok in that golden early sunrise. But, be careful of sun exposure later in the day.

Okay gotcha thanks for this! I usually work from 7am to 4:3pm throughout the week so I’m probably going to put her in a different spot when I’m out

pothos are happy as full sun plants as long as they’re acclimated properly. there’s plenty of pictures of them climbing palm trees outdoors in florida in 100°+ weather and bright full sun. and it’s important to keep in mind that moving plants around usually does more harm than good. in nature they are rooted in one place. it will probably grow just fine in the northeast window, it might even be too shady a spot for it, mine ended up stretched in the northeast window, and is much happier a few feet from a southeast window. your latitude and elevation are also important factors when considering how much sun your plants get
