Always a good day when you can confirm new growth on multiple plants! They are Monstera, Sarracenia, Colocasia and Sauromatum!

Oooo the stems on that 3rd pic are amazing! It almost looks like an Alocasia Zebrina, but its not… what is it?  
Yay new growth! Spring/summer is so satisfying in plant world!

That is Sauromatum venosum! The Voodoo lily. Right now it’s in the process of storing energy in its corm and at the end of the season they’ll all die down and I’ll have to overwinter the corms. I’m hoping to potentially get a flower next year from the biggest one. They’re related to the corpse flower and are pollinated by flies and carrion beetles so the flower smells like rotten flesh for the couple days it’s open.
