It might not be anything really. But I do know that Corn Plants are sensitive to chlorine and fluoride in water. You can use distilled water. Sometimes I get by with using water that I let sit out overnight for chlorine to evaporate out. But my water probably still contains fluoride and definitely lime. It might just be that your plant is adjusting to its new home.
I found mine set out on a curb just about dead. Despite my not understanding much about it it survived and even recovered while I figured it out.

You can also use rainwater

I think we’re looking at a yucca here but still same advice. Great news is that for as hard as dracaenas (corn stalk plants) are to kill, yuccas are in my opinion even harder to kill. Mine had a mealy bug infestation so I had to regularly clean the “joints” where the leaves grow out of but it’s been over a year now and he’s bigger than ever! Also make sure he’s got enough sunlight. If he’s in a shady corner he might have a harder time adjusting to your home if he’s relatively new.
