# I’ve seen a lot of people on here have lithops as their wishlist…

_Publié par Cat le 2023-06-24_

I’ve seen a lot of people on here have lithops as their wishlist plant…and let me tell you i’ve had so much success with keeping them alive it’s easier than it sounds. When i first saw them online i wanted them, but couldn’t find them anywhere till i turned to my beloved amazon. This shop “micro landscape design” has amazing quality lithops as well as packaging to keep them safe, about 3 months ago i wanna say, i ordered a kit with 8 seedlings and 25 seeds. They give extras to ensure you get your moneys worth! You should’ve seen my face when i counted 13 babies when i ordered 8. As far as the seeds go every single one germinated but i went on vacation and now only have 4/5 survivors, but if i was more attentive i guarantee i’d still have all 25. in the red beige and yellow pots are my lithops from my first round, i ordered the kit and then 3 red ones, and yesterday the ones in the dark blue light blue and green pots arrived in the mail. The big boy in the center I actually found at home depot!

These guys are so crazy looking. They are like little dried up brains. 🧠 I wanna find a skull planter and put one it in! I don't think I've ever seen these at any of my local shops. I'll have to hit up ye 'ole Bezos Emporium and see if I can grow it! Thanks for posting.

they are becoming more popular i think because of tiktok, i’ve never seen any local either until 2 weeks ago when i saw big ones like the middle one i have, and i was so surprised because it was after ordering from amazon 🤣my friend went with me and was like no way since when are these at home depot. and they only had 3 so i think they are testing the waters..keep an eye out at home depot and maybe you’ll see them there too..and i will say i was sweetly surprised when mine came in the mail, very secure packaging they use the little takeout sauce containers and toilet paper, they come on bubble mailers but the 2 times i’ve ordered from them i’ve never had any issues, they also give about 3-5 extra, it’s so worth it, definitely post if you get them!!
