# The pot is meant for someone in a huge house who isn’t sawing legs…

The pot is meant for someone in a huge house who isn’t sawing legs off tables to fit everything in the most sunny spot. Repotting Mando was intimidating, and just getting him safely loose enough to pull out of the pot required 20 minutes of shaking and hugging and a very obscene several minutes of jumping/dancing. The previous owner had covered up the base to hide what might be some rot, and it might be great soil, but it was over a foot of straight-up dirt. So here goes. #Cereusperuvianus

I have a solid panic attack with every repotting. I know they're necessary, but there's not much else that can send me straight into a massive coronary like trying to get a plant out of it's pot. Terrifying. Well done!

Ha thanks. I killed the first cactus I got (inherited) five years ago due to the usual inexperience and that it was 30 pounds of spines. It seemed impossible to repot. I will say I was dreading this one, and prefer to deal with 2-inch plants :)
