Okay, need some help! My Stromanthe Triostar is a “Diva”! It seems like I can’t please her! Inside the house, outside with shade, watering every 4 days or once a week and fertilizer, she wont strive like my others ladies!
Can someone help me!

I’m sorry to see that she has some dry spots on the foliage. Did I catch it right that you’ve both tried growing it indoors and outside in a shaded spot? If so then the sudden change of bringing it outside might have stressed it (change in temp, wind, sun etc).

Best is a sheltered spot inside where it gets plenty of indirect light and regular watering and fertilizing. Make sure that all the info is updated about the plant (pot size, type, soil type, distance to nearest window etc) so that the care schedule it properly adapted to it. Unfortunately the current dry spots won’t heal but given some time to acclimate it should start to put out a lot of new foliage after a while 🌱

Yes, she started inside the house with plenty of sun light and every 7 days water. Then she was looking droopy so I decided to bring her out in the patio every 5 days water with no direct sunlight and you’ll seen the picture. I just believe she’s a diva! Lol! I will do all of your suggestions! I won’t give up! Thank you for your help!

These tropical plants are calatheas and need above average humidity (65%+) keep them in medium light away from air drafts or their leaves start to crisp up. I keep mine indoors away from harsh sunlight \& right next to a humidifier where the humidity always reads 70% I water only when the top half of the soil is dry (not completely dried out) and it has been growing really well without any crispy tips and is constantly putting out new leaves. They also don’t like to be moved around too much or they get stressed- hope this helps!

I just got one of these yesterday! I also read to use purified water for it. 🤷‍♀️ 🤞
