Thought I’d share my cover pot for my watermelon peperomia, Wanda. For anyone looking for one, I picked it up at Ten Thousand Villages. They also ship online from their website if you don’t have one near you 😊 I’d love to see everyone else’s watermelon peperomias, so feel free to share yours in the comments.

I got mine from Etsy, but I highly suggest picking one up from a nursery rather than a box store. They’re a lot better off when they’re more likely of being potted in the right soil 😉 and thank you. I’m too terrified of damaging the pot to drill holes into it, but it makes a really cute cover one. I’ve got a snail one too 🐌

Funny enough… I saw one a while back at one of my local nurseries but it was in terrible condition. Was sooooo tempted to pick it up but I was (even more) of a noob and didn’t think I had the skills for that.

Super cute you’ve got a matching set! Don’t drill holes into them! They’re so cute! Perfect cover pots, and you can put new plant babies in them when Wanda out grows it!

My local nursery sells them but I haven’t seen one in quite the same condition as Wanda. They’re all healthy, just a lot of torn leaves 😢 I’d love to find a friend for her. Wishing you good luck in finding yourself a nice and healthy Wanda 😉👍

We have a Ten Thousand Villages here in Philly! I’ll have to sneak out or wait till I have something to do in town and check them out.

Question: Is your Walter Mellon new also? (Or is he a she? I can’t think of a name at the moment.)

I’ve had mine since June. Yours looks beautiful! My dad named her Wanda, so I guess she’s a she. If you’re asking for name ideas for yours, Walter isn’t a bad one. Let’s see… (I actually have a list of plant names that I go through when I get a new one 😂) for some girl names, there’s Vera, Amelia, Lydia, Thalia, Renee, Phoebe, Daphne, and Eloise from my list. As for boy names…Andy or Andi, Nino, Liam, Keanu Leaves (a silly one), Greg, Gary, Joe, Lenny, Leo, Jim, or Jamie. Hope this helps!
