# Hi there! My first fern, a white rabbits foot, is not doing so hot.…

Hi there! My first fern, a white rabbits foot, is not doing so hot. Watered weekly, nursery pot, fertilized with super diluted liquid 1x/month or so, next to a window but mounted on the ceiling and his leaves are droopy, crunchy and falling off. I’m worried I over fertilized, because there’s no way he’s under-watered…but the fertilizer was super diluted too. Would love your thoughts!

You sure he’s not over watered? Have you checked the roots?

Same suggestion here! Do you check soil moisture with your finger before watering? And how deep do you stick your finger?
