# Hello I'm new to the planting community we bought this fern 2 weeks…

Hello I'm new to the planting community we bought this fern 2 weeks ago he is in my bedroom my window is big so he get lights but there is still leaves that look like they are dying. I use fertilizer sticks and spray down everyday and bottom water once a week for an hr. Is this normal?

It's pretty common for them to crisp up in lower humidity

Would you suggest to spray more ?

Yea. I hit my ferns 2x a days. Misting only boosts the humidity around them for so long. You might also try a pebble tray under it, that could increase the humidity for longer periods
