# Hi! This is Birdie, my bird nest fern. I think I’ve been overwatering…

Hi! This is Birdie, my bird nest fern. I think I’ve been overwatering her (Planta Dx agreed) so I’ve been being more careful about checking soil and I’ve moved her into a slightly brighter spot. I’m wondering if I should remove these brown parts of the leaves or just leave them be? Thank you! 😊

I’ve been cutting mine when it has any leaf damage (curious cats) and it seems to do just fine with that. Good luck! 🌿
