# My fern has splits in the middle of the stem. Should i keep it or cut…

My fern has splits in the middle of the stem. Should i keep it or cut it off? Also how do we keep it upright so it can stay flourished instead of downed. We’ve been watering it regularly but it seems like it’s not flourished as we got it. Any suggestions?
