My maidenhair fern has this and I have no idea what it is! It’s different than the rest of the fronds and even though ferns don’t flower that’s where my mind went. If any of you have insight I’d appreciate it be sure I’m super curious!

Definitely looks like a new frond! I have a hares foot, and the new fronds are just like that.
