# Any reason the new baby leaf on my prayer plant would have these…

Any reason the new baby leaf on my prayer plant would have these browning edges? Is it watering? Humidity? Light?

Info: It’s currently in a north facing window with indirect light from an east facing window as well. I just bought a small humidifier to help and I try to keep it moist as I know prayer plants love lots of water.

I think the humidity maybe is too low. Get a hygrometer to check what relative humidity you have near your plant. I don’t have this exact plant but I have many calatheas and I believe they need the same humidity which is minimum 50 rh. I keep my rh at 50-60 always.

Thank you! I figured it was a humidity problem too, it’s been cold where I live and I’ve been blasting the heater. I bought both a small humidifier and a hygrometer! It’s only been 2 days tho so I’ll have to wait for results!
