# Would anybody here be able to help me identify this plant? I think it…

_Posted by New Bristolian on 2023-09-12_

Would anybody here be able to help me identify this plant? I think it might be a Calathea “Beauty Star” but not sure. Anyway, it tends to furl in its leaves during the day and then spreads them out again in the evening. Normal behaviour?
Thank you

Yes it’s a beauty star and yes that’s totally normal for Calathea/Goeppertia (hence the common name “prayer plant”).
