# I got this Anthurium from the clearance section of a local plant…

I got this Anthurium from the clearance section of a local plant shop. It has a few spots and they cut some of its leaves, but otherwise it seems okay.  
I have two questions:  
\- When I took it out of the nursery pot, it had a lot of shrivelled, black roots (that I cut off). Do you think the nursery overwatered it? If not, do you think a pest or something else caused the discoloured spots?  
\- Do you know what kind of strap leaf anthurium this is? All of its leaves seem to have different shapes so I’ve been having trouble deciding which one it is.

You’re are right, the plant was overwatered. Now, your choice 😇  
A Gracile  
A pallidilflorum  
Not sure about my spelling 😇
