# So I had way too many basic phaeleonopses and decided to do something…

So I had way too many basic phaeleonopses and decided to do something cool with them, and I had a cool log laying outside so I made a triple orchid mount! I removed the soil from the roots and stuffed some sphagnum and carpet moss in there, and then drilled some holes in the wood, and then wired the plant in, and then put some more moss in the side. Hoping for a new bloom soon, the old one was 11 months ago! \[Edit\] this is meant to mimic how they would grow on trees in the wild, and the amount of moss in there is pretty insane. I had a bag about 1 foot by 2 feet of mixed sphagnum, carpet, wood, and plate mosses and they're all in there!

They look great! It'll be cool to see them once they've fully settled in

🪻Wow! 💡 That’s going to look stunning especially if they all flower at once. 🌸
