I would love any suggestions on how to encourage my orchids to develop a stem and bloom!!! I needed to cut the stem off one (my mini) and on the other two plants I broke the stems off when repotting!!! The plants are all very healthy and the mini is even growing new leaves. It has been over a year ( maybe a bit more) with no stems in sight. Is the only option for me patience?

I’m sorry to say that your BEST and most likely option is to practice patience. Clearly, your plants have grown flower spikes in the past, so you are giving them the right care and culture. Unfortunately, most phalaenopsis bloom only once a year- and flower spikes are (generally) instigated by the drop in temps in the fall and bloom around the holidays. So you may have a bit of a wait.

I figured as much. Thank you for your reply.
