I have a serious question.

Are there carnivorous orchids?

If not, hear me out,

I was at my local orchid shop, and I saw an orchid that looked like a pitcher plant. I didn’t see any of the workers around so I just kept to myself. But I really wondered, is it carnivorous? When I looked into the flower (pitcher) there was a fluid but no insects.

Is it an omnivorous, carnivorous, or deceptive?

There is only one - aracamunia liesneri - but it’s only been collected once in the 80s, so I doubt we’d see it in a shop.
