HaHah- that is so great. It’s a Paphiopedilum “Maudie” hybrid. This label shows what it was sold as, but I don’t know enough to get what it all means.

This isn’t a Maudiae hybrid, those are specifically green and white- I’ll add a photo of mine. This purple toned paph is beautiful! I’ll bet it gets that color from its ‘raisin pie’ parent.

The internet tells me it is a Maudiae-type hybrid, lots of websites actually, which look like can be different colors. But yea, I do see that a Paph. Maudiae is specifically white and green. Thanks for clarifying, yours is beautiful! 😍

Interesting! There must be some Maudiae in the parents listed on your tag. Hybrids can be so complex. Thanks for the info!
