# Hello! My Orchid had been slowly loosing leaves over the last month…

Hello! My Orchid had been slowly loosing leaves over the last month and there is another leave currently beginning to yellow on the lower right side. I repotted my orchid about a week ago into a bigger pot because the plant was done blooming, but I am concerned 😬 any advice is appreciated.

Mine just finished blooming and I cut the stems and left it in the same pot since they really only need to be repotted every three years .. the leaves are turning because it may just be in shock, it’s normal for this to happen after repotting. Just let the leaves fall off and don’t overwater. Hope this helps:))

How long have you had the orchid? It might be acclimating to you growing space.

If you’ve had it for a while and it just started shedding leaves, something else is afoot. How did the roots look when you repotted? Have you moved it to a now spot? Has something changed outside to reduce the amount of light it receives?
