Does anyone know what kind of orchid I have? I just can’t seem to find the exact type I have on Planta or on the internet.

This is a phaelenopsis or moth orchid. You cant really tell exactly what cultivar without the flower

I took millions of pictures of her flowers when she was blooming but they’re all mysteriously gone from my Photos 🤔

Post some if you can dig them up.

I found this picture on safaris that looks like my orchid when it flowers (except that there’s only one stalk of flowers, not multiple) it’s just weird because my orchids leaves are thick and upright and sturdy while all the images I see of orchids have thin, floppy leaves

I have a very similar orchid. I believe I have it in planta as a moth orchid. Mine hasn’t flowered in nearly a year. The leaves look the same on ours.

Alright I have it under that as well but I wanted to be as accurate as possible in the species of orchid I chose

It could be a tiger hill, a snow compass, an ocean boulevard, there are many white phaelenopsis I guess what I should have said is that you would need to see the botanical card and maybe even need a microscope to get extremely specific in this case. However the care will be extremely similar amongst all store bought phals. If you’re worried about care, there’s an incredible resource on YouTube called miss orchid girl. She offers extremely comprehensive care instruction with years of videos at this point. :D
