It’s been a big week at the Pi house. Another one is opening up!

Oncidium Twinkle 'Pink Profusion'

I got this one as a seedling last year so wasn’t expecting any blooms. I mean it’s in a super tiny 1” square pot. But I come home to find lovely little blooms starting to open.

The flowers are around 1/4” and are suppose to be fragrant, ranging from chocolate to honey. I think this one is a honey but I can’t smell anything (I betting it’s a morning fragrant flower or allergies). Mature plants can bloom multiple times a year, putting on a mass of flowers.

The flowers remind me of pink versions of the Oncidium ‘Gold Dust’

That’s wonderful! I love those little seedlings that are so vigorous that they surprise you with blooms far earlier than expected. 😍😍😍

I finally got a chance to stick my nose in and they do smell ever so faintly of milk chocolate.
