This post is for my orchid friends waiting on those SPIKES!!! This is what you are looking for when looking for new flower spikes. I have two right above the bottom leaves. Hope this helps.

Mine is growing what look like new roots but maybe they’re new spikes?? I’m hoping! Congrats on yours!

Mine has two first time spikes as well- such vigerous little growers!

Right? I just got it this year and they didn’t have spikes for months and it started this month (I got it before the initial orchid fest a couple months ahead) I didn’t repot it initially but once it started to look a little suffocated I just repotted her. I think all my other phals this year (the ones I was less knowledgeable with playing with) might have to wait till next year 😭
