# I’ve had these orchids for at least 3 years now, and I’ve recently…

I’ve had these orchids for at least 3 years now, and I’ve recently added them to water. I was worried when I saw people saying that the roots are not good if they’re brown or black. Mine have them but I also see what looks like new green sprouts. Any advice/help is appreciated. 2 separate orchids.  
The one on the left has no flowers the one on the right has 3 blooms with 2 more buds.

You may have the water level too high. Water in the crown can lead to rot. These orchids are tough but that’s their kryptonite.
