# Key Lime Stars. What a very strong and vigorous grower! Absolutely…

_Posted by Jen on 2023-08-25_

Key Lime Stars. What a very strong and vigorous grower! Absolutely zero set-back since I brought her home last September. Two directions of growth. And GUYS!!! not one, but TWO little sheaths with buds forming inside. I know it’s more fun to see the flowers, but it’s cool to see how other types of orchids begin to flower if you’re just used to a phalaenopsis flower spike. Plus, I am just so excited to see what’s coming, and happy that it looks like it’s going to bloom for the first time in my care.

Ooooooo Brassavola hybrids are so fun! Interesting form. Cool flowers. Lovely fragrance.

I enjoy the bud development phase too. Very interesting to see how types differ from one another.

Please do follow up posts. I would love to see how it turns out.

Congrats!!!
