Sometimes in life, you have to start over, but you may need a little help to get there.

My little orchid friend here lost all his roots (oops, my bad) and finally has some new ones budding. I'm letting him get a nice long drink before I put him back in a dome for humidity. With a little love and time, he should recover.

(This is also the best bargain orchid I've ever found. Mottled leaves and he was only $3 in a clearance shelf)

Orchids are an excellent patience teaching tool. Good reminders too that- it ain’t over ‘til it’s over. I’d love to see its progress over the next few months. It’s always so encouraging.

I will try to post updates on it. I usually tend to forget the before photos 😅

Very kind of you to rescue the poor thing. I’m sure your new friend will reward you with beautiful flowers. I didn’t know that they can have mottled leaves.
