# The flowers on my mini moth haven’t opened and I’m starting to think…

The flowers on my mini moth haven’t opened and I’m starting to think that they won’t now. Any ideas why this might happen and is there anything I can do? She’s been in this limbo for a couple of months now which is worrying as my regular moth orchid has opened up just fine x

As long as they aren’t yellowing and falling, I would just try to be patient. Every individual plant goes at their own pace. My only thought is if she seems a little thirstier than normal, I’d up the frequency of watering a little, only because I’ve noticed mine tend to need a little more water during flowering.

Mine took that long also they are just very slow in blooming. Mine usually take around three months to grow the spike and then another two months or so to bloom.

Update: I’ve come home from work and she be bloomin!! 😍😍
