# Does anyone know what’s happening to my syngonium?? I watered it…

Does anyone know what’s happening to my syngonium?? I watered it yesterday afternoon and now this morning there are these strange darker green patches on the leaves. It’s never done this before!

I do not know if it's a problem, but I do know mine do this all the time and don't seem any worse for it. I was surprised too, but I'm used to it now! It only shows up in the ones I have in semi-hydro EDIT: also it goes away as they get light during the day

Yeah, it went away eventually! I’m just happy I didn’t overwater it haha thank you

One of the types of syngoniums has this coloring. It is natural. It shouldn't be an issue.

It’s just transitioning colors based off how much light it’s getting, that’s all.. it’s normal
