# Hi all, I got this arrowhead before I got super into plants and left…

Hi all, I got this arrowhead before I got super into plants and left it in water for a long, long time. During that time, it never had more than 3 large leaves. Eventually, I potted it and placed it in a north facing windowsill - since then it’s been sprouting a ton of new leaves but they’re all less than half the size of the 2 it made when it was in water! Is this a sign of too little light or is this normal for arrowhead plants?

Keep in mind that it is now putting energy towards growing “soil” roots as opposed to the water roots. So probably going thru an adjustment.
