# This year I planted a red beard tongue foxglove, but I’m not sure if…

This year I planted a red beard tongue foxglove, but I’m not sure if I should clip off the dead stems or leave as-is (circled in pic). Do they regenerate blooms on the old stems? Or should I cut to encourage new shoots? Thank you!
