It probably needs more light. Clean the rot first:
\- Change the water. Clean and disinfect the glass and cutting tools with hydrogen peroxide.
\- Cut off the rot. Rinse the cutting in the peroxide.
\- Add clean water to the container.
\- Place the cutting in bright indirect light for at least 6 - 8 hours a day, more if using a grow light.

Roots should emerge in about 2 weeks to 3 weeks. Add diluted liquid fertilizer and SuperThrive plant vitamins after the roots emerge. Good Luck!🍀🪴

Did you let it callus over the end before putting it in water?

#### Bee replied on 2024-09-08

No, I don’t think I did was I supposed to?

Maybe next time, leave it out for an hour to callous before putting it into water. It helps prevent rotting
