I have these two plants I was hoping to propagate. One is a haworthia and the other is a snake plant. Any recommendations if water or soil would be better? Any recommendations are very much appreciated :) I’m still really new at this

I have tried water for my snake plant and it didn’t really work. I did successfully propagate my succulents in soil tho so maybe start with that?
